The Academy Receives $10,000 for Participation in Hour of Code

The Academy at Eleventh Street received a check for $10,000 from on Tuesday, December 8. The school was awarded the check due to their commitment to host a school-wide Hour of Code with all students completing computer coding activities. Using the funding, the school will purchase Chromebooks for a one-to-one, student-to-device initiative.

Winter Weather Communication Plan

During the winter months, school officials keep a close watch on the weather. If the decision is made to delay or close school, our district will make every effort to notify parents, guardians, employees and the community as soon as possible utilizing various communication tools and local media.
