Welcome to another fabulous school year!
-Originally from Logan County, Kentucky
-Graduated from Murray State University in 2013 with Bachelor degrees in English Education and Spanish Education
-Had a phenomenal and varied college experience: member of Honors College; played saxophone in marching band; active undergraduate research assistant; worked at university newspaper; traveled to the Virgin Islands for a biology course, to Costa Rica and Nicaragua to study Spanish, and to Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France during a summer in Europe.
-ALWAYS glad to give pointers about scholarships, selecting colleges, and becoming involved in college!
-Currently working towards a Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language at WKU
-Sponsor of Spanish/Latino clubs
-Organizer of the International Party, an annual spring event showcasing the cultures of BGHS
-Also serve as a chaperone/sponsor for the AP US History spring trip to Washington, DC
-Other hobbies/interests: cooking/baking, going to concerts (This summer I saw Tori Kelly...she was awesome!), visiting State/National Parks (I went to the Rocky Mountains over spring break!), spending time with friends/family, volunteering with youth group, and watching movies (I love Disney and Will Ferrell!)
