I am from Grayson county. I came to Bowling Green in 1988 to attend college at WKU. After college I married and moved to Wichita, Kansas in 1994 where I worked as an optician for an eye doctor's office. I moved from there to Anchorage, Alaska in December of 1995 and worked for another eye doctor's office. I finally got my first teaching job at a small Catholic Jr/Sr high school where I taught for 2 years. I taught at the school from 1996-1998. I returned to Kentucky in 1998 and taught 1 year at North Hardin high school. I came back to Bowling Green and taught at Bowling Green Jr. High for 6 years and moved to Louisiana where I taught for 10 years. I am now back in Bowling Green and I am teaching at BGHS. I am excited to be back and don't plan on moving again.
I am remarried and I have two daughters Shelby who is a freshman at WKU and Emma who is in 6th grade at BGJH. I also have 2 step sons and 1 step daughter ages 19, 20 and 23.
