I began my teaching career in 1995 as a non-traditional teacher entering the teaching field ten years after graduating high school. I taught 2 years at North Hardin High School before coming to Bowling Green High in 1997. This year will be my 21ts year at BGHS. I have always had a love for business and technology. I have continued to learn technology right along with my students. I encourage students to get involved in STLP, FBLA and other school activities where they can become involved in leadership and community service activities. I continue to be amazed at the student accomplishments in and outside of my classes.

My family is very important to me and I am happily married to Louis McCoy for the past 29 years and have two very outgoing boys who both love soccer. John starting college at the University of the Cumberlands where he will pursue a Business Degree and continue playing soccer and running hurdles.  Brandon is an Sophomore and plays soccer and runs track for the high school and he also plays on the SKY Travel Soccer Team. My hobbies include videography, photography, and attending sporting events for my children and BGHS. I pride myself in being a life-long learner and hope to instill that into my students.

50% of what we see and hear
70% of what we discuss
80% of what we experience
95% of what we teach others."
