Homework - Homework will be given Monday - Thursday nights.  Most Thursdays will be reserved for studying for Spelling tests and D.O.L. quizzes.  Students should empty their "KEEP AT HOME" pocket each night and complete the assignment in the "RETURN TO SCHOOL" pocket.

Student Agendas - Students will write their homeowrk assignments in their agendas daily.  Parents, please sign each night to communicate with me that you have seen the assignments.  I will check your signature each day.

Spelling - Students should study nightly.

Reading - Students are expected to check out and read books on their reading level.  An assessment will be administered to determine a reading level range.  You will hear a lot about our Accelerated Reader program and our AR Fast Track this year! A "Reading Log" will be sent home which will outline the reading requirements for each month.  Parents, please document the reading that takes place at home by signing and returning the "Reading Log" at the end of each month.

     2.  Walk 5 mins. of "Bonus Recess"
     3.  Quiet Table; Loss of "Sharpen the Saw Day"
