Leader in Me

High expectations are a top priority at T.C. Cherry as well as in my classroom. Your child will be practicing the 7 Habits of Healthy Kids. Please reiterate how important it is to be a leader and follow the guidelines for success. We have a very supportive staff and student population who believe strongly in our guidelines. Your help and support is much appreciated. I am such an advocate for these 7 habits because they teach students how to become learners and leaders independently and together. It teaches responsibility, organization, kindness, and balance.

The seven habits of healthy kids are:

Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind

Habit 3: Put First Things First
Habit 4: Think Win/Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw”
