a) You may call the school and leave a message or email me at email@example.com with any questions or concerns. My email is on all day (given there are no technical difficulties) and although I check it several times during the day, I may not have enough time during the day to respond back immediately. However, I will do my best to respond to your email before I leave school that day.
b) I will update the calendar on the class webpage with events and assignments that are upcoming. You can see updates on assignments, events, projects and supplemental websites.
c) Report cards will be sent home four times during the year.
d) If your child is going home a different way, you will need to send a signed note OR call the office so that the secretary is aware and can pass that information on to me.
e) If you have questions or concerns please contact me. My door is always open to discuss your concerns.
Attendance is the important key to your child’s success in school. Please make sure your child is at school every day, except for obvious reasons such as sickness or an emergency in the family. If your child is absent, please write a note explaining why so that information can be sent to the office. Your child is responsible for obtaining all missed assignments once they return to school. If your child is sick and you would like his/her homework assignments so he/she may work on them that night, you must call the office by 9:00 AM. Please ask the office to notify me so that I can have the assignments ready to send down to the office by 2:30 PM.
School hours are from 8:10 AM to 2:50 PM. IF your child needs to eat breakfast at school, they must arrive in enough time to eat breakfast in an adequate amount of time before morning dismissal at 8:00 AM.
