The Bowling Green Independent School District has proposed changes to elementary school boundaries that will impact Dishman McGinnis and Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary Schools beginning with the 2019-2020 school year.

Both Dishman McGinnis and Parker-Bennett-Curry are built for the enrollment of 500 students or less. Dishman McGinnis currently has over 500 students and new construction in the area will soon overcrowd the school. Parker-Bennett-Curry has approximately 310 students.

Two parent meetings are scheduled to answer questions about the proposed changes. District administrators will be available at Dishman McGinnis on February 26 at 6:30 p.m. or at Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary on February 28 at 6:30 p.m.
