WKU Honors Students from Bowling Green and Warren County Schools

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WKU honored 75 students from five high schools in Bowling Green and Warren County for their academic achievements at a luncheon on November 7 at the Augenstein Alumni Center.

This year’s group has an average ACT composite score of 29.58 and grade-point average of 3.92 and included 25 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars and seven National Merit Semifinalists.

Students from Warren County Schools include Greenwood High School: Hira Arshad, Kari Bertram, Holly Boddeker, Caroline Davis, Savannah Gillam, Maya Huss, Jennifer King, Katherine Losekamp, Jessica Moore, Hunter Sewell, Sarah Suggs, and Rachel Sunderline.

South Warren High School: Shaumik Alam, Joshua Baldauff, Anne-Thomas Belcher, Jared Brown, Nathan Cherry, Allison Curry, Travis Henson, Benjamin Huzyak, Joel Iyiegbuniwe, Carter Jackson, Nicole Martin, Katie Meyers, Joshua Musalia, Matthew Nelson, Evan Poff, Alexis Shindhelm, Jonah Starling, Carlisle Stuart, Emily Tyler, Jessica Vaughan, and Arnela Zukic.          

Warren Central High School: Emina Alagic, Natalie Allen, Antonio Chavez, Mariah Cobb, Oshun Fox, Amber Lamastus, Almedina Mujanovic, Tin Phung, and Marina Zerskaya.         

Warren East High School: Kalyn Edwards, Natalie Malone, Mariah Montgomery, Hannah Parker, Hannah Turner, and Macy Young.
