The district calendar committee would like
your opinion regarding the 2010-2011
Academic Calendar for Bowling Green
Independent Schools. Three options are
provided for review. The calendar committee
will consider all survey responses by
parents/guardians, district employees, and
community members before making a
recommendation to the Board of Education at
the December 14 Board Meeting.
The official calendar will be published
after it is approved by the Board of
Education.
The 2010-2011 school calendar must include:

177 Instructional Days
-
Four Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving
Day, Martin Luther King Day, and
President’s Day
-
No School
for regular and primary elections
(November 2 and May 17).

ALSO,
school must be IN SESSION March 15 and
March 29 to administer the ACT to BGHS
Juniors.
