W.R. McNeill Elementary is a neighborhood school centrally located in Bowling Green, Kentucky--the economic hub of Southcentral Kentucky . You can find us adjacent to Western Kentucky University at the corner of Creason Drive and University Boulevard.   We are a small neighborhood school serving about 400 children in Grades K-5.

*As a Pace Setter School, we are one of the highest-scoring five percent of all schools that have reached the fourth recognition point (88) and met the dropout and novice reduction requirements of CATS.   We hold the distinction of being 1 of 57 schools in the Commonwealth to become a Pace Setter School in 2004.   We also met Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP) for the federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act.
