The BGHS and BGJHS Stakeholder Surveys are now closed.
Bowling Green Junior High and Bowling Green High School SBDM Councils will meet to review survey data, develop criteria, and receive applicant credentials. Interviews will be held in mid-to-late April.
Members of the BGHS and BGJHS Principal Selection Committees are developing lists of criteria for the next school principals. Parents/guardians, students, employees, and community members are invited to participate in brief online surveys, identifying qualities believed to be most important. Surveys will close Friday, March 29th.

Bowling Green Junior High Stakeholder Survey
The Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green Junior High School-Based Decision Making Councils met Tuesday, March 19, 2019, to participate in Principal Selection Training and to establish tentative timelines. Former BGHS Principal William King was named Director of Technology in February, and BGJHS Principal Cynthia West will retire at the end of the school year.
Both principal positions have been posted on the district employment website since February 22, 2019. BGHS will accept applications until March 25th, and BGJHS until March 29th.
Both schools will use an online survey to gather stakeholder feedback the week of Monday, March 25 - Friday, March 29th. The survey data will assist as the councils establish criteria and develop interview questions for the candidates.
Bowling Green High School SBDM has tentatively scheduled a meeting to select and announce the next principal on Friday, May 3. Bowling Green Junior High has tentatively scheduled an announcement on May 6, 2019.
