New in 2019-20 All students enrolled in BGISD will be served breakfast and lunch at no charge through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a provision of The Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Under the CEP option, families in qualifying schools will no longer need to complete a Free or Reduced Price Meal Application; however are required to complete a Household Income Form (HIF) to provide the school district information for other income-based funding and grants, such as our Family Resource and Youth Services Centers.
Meal prices have also been modified. No student will be charged for breakfast or lunch, however if students would like to purchase an additional meal, additional breakfast will cost $2.50 and $3.00 for an additional lunch. Adult prices for faculty/staff and visitors are $2.50 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch.
Mypaymentsplus accounts will continue to be utilized for students and adults to make payments for meals without carrying cash.
