School Health Professionals

Bowling Green Independent Schools and Graves Gilbert Clinic partner to provide convenient, quality, and low-cost health services to students and employees. Seven schools are staffed with school health professionals, plus a walk-in-care service available at Bowling Green High School, managed by an onsite Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN). A Medical Director supports the staff in implementing programs and services.

Graves Gilbert Clinic provides daily school health functions, such as the delivery of medications, first-aid, triage and access to a nurse practitioner via telemedicine services. On-site laboratory screenings are available for flu, strep, and COVID-19 for students and staff.

School Health Professionals in Bowling Green City Schools are also offering students and employees health services through the VSee Clinic for Patient app, a telemedicine, video software. Employees and families may make an appointment to visit District Nurse Practitioner, Ashley Allen, from their homes with either a computer or mobile phone. If a COVID-19 Rapid test is ordered, testing may be done curbside at your school with results in approximately 20 minutes.
