Commitment

Potter Gray Elementary School, established in 1959, has provided educational opportunities to generations of students in Bowling Green City Schools. Approximately 400 students are enrolled in Kindergarten through Fifth Grades. Staff and families are committed to providing a caring, productive, learning environment in which all children can develop their abilities and talents to the maximum. The mission of Potter Gray is for all students to achieve excellence as productive, responsible citizens.

2019-20 Supply Lists
New in 2019-20: Students Eat Free

New in 2019-20 All students enrolled in BGISD will be served breakfast and lunch at no charge through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), a provision of The Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act of 2010. Meal prices have also been modified. No student will be charged for breakfast or lunch, however if students would like to purchase an additional meal, additional breakfast will cost $2.50 and $3.00 for an additional lunch. Adult prices for faculty/staff and visitors are $2.50 for breakfast and $4.00 for lunch. 

Potter Gray Selects Keith Brown as Principal

The Potter Gray Principal Selection Committee has announced Keith Brown as the next principal. He was introduced to faculty, staff, students, and families on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at the school.

Summer Meals Program: May 28 - August 2

Bowling Green City School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided weekdays, May 28 - August 2, to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
