On Friday, April 14, readers in kindergarten through fifth grade got to choose a book to take home and keep. Librarian Laura Eason received a Read Across America grant from the National Education Association to purchase books for the entire student body. She selected a variety of books in order to give the students many choices. Students selected from fiction, non-fiction, biographies, biographies, early readers, and picture books. Everyone was happy to receive a new book!
