Bowling Green High School is bringing the timeless classic tale of Charlotte’s Web to life for three public performances October 22nd and 23rd, at Bowling Green Junior High School. It will be the first fall play for the school in more than a decade.
This charming tale of loyalty and friendship based on E.B. White’s widely read children’s story tells of a farmyard pig named Wilbur and the friends who save his life including Charlotte, the wise and hardworking spider who will weave her way into your heart; Fern, a young farm girl and Wilbur’s first friend and ardent protector; her pesky younger brother Avery; and a host of farmyard friends from the tempestuous packrat Templeton, the bubbly Goose, and to the caustic old Sheep. You’re sure to have a TERRIFIC, heart-warming experience with this family-friendly performance.
Show times are 3 p.m. & 7 p.m. October 22, and 3 p.m. October 23. General admission tickets will be sold at the door beginning one hour before each performance. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and children. Children in friendly Halloween costumes will receive $1 off admission.
